The things people ask us most — about sizing, materials, where it’s made, shipping, and care. If we missed something, email shop@dryheatgoods.com.

What is Dry Heat?

Dry Heat is a premium Western wear brand based in Phoenix, Arizona, making heritage-constructed apparel for wanderers of the borderland. We design in Arizona and combine vintage American workwear construction with the soul of Mexican craftsmanship — chain-stitched details, natural fabrics, real leather, and cuts built to be worn hard and age well.

Where is Dry Heat based?

Dry Heat is designed in Phoenix, Arizona, in the Sonoran Desert borderland between the American Southwest and northern Mexico. The landscape is not a prop — it is where every collection is conceived, prototyped, and photographed.

Where is Dry Heat made?

Each Dry Heat piece is made in small runs by partner workshops across the US and Mexico, chosen for their specialty — chain-stitching in Mexico City, heritage denim in Los Angeles, heavyweight knit cotton in the Carolinas. We publish the country of manufacture on every product page so you always know where the piece came from.

What materials does Dry Heat use?

Dry Heat uses natural fibers and honest workwear materials wherever possible. The live Drift Sock is built from a merino + cotton blend for long walks and boots; the sample garments use cotton, canvas, and other heritage fabrics as they move from one-off sample pieces toward future production.

How does Dry Heat sizing run?

Dry Heat tees and carpenter pants run true to size with a slightly relaxed cut designed for layering and movement. If you are between sizes, size down for a vintage fit and size up for a drape-forward fit. Socks are offered in two heights (Low Drift, ankle-height; High Drift, mid-calf) and one unisex shoe size range.

How should I care for my Dry Heat garments?

Wash Dry Heat cotton pieces cold, inside-out, and line-dry them to preserve color, hand, and stitching. Chain-stitched embroidery and single-stitch vintage hems prefer gentle cycles — no hot water, no high-heat tumble, no bleach. A cold wash every 3–4 wears is plenty; natural fibers self-refresh in dry air.

Does Dry Heat ship internationally?

Dry Heat currently ships to the United States with international shipping rolling out as each collection moves from sample to live. If you want to be notified when your country is added, email shop@dryheatgoods.com and we will add you to the queue.

What is the return policy?

Dry Heat accepts returns on unworn, unwashed eligible goods within 30 days of delivery. Socks are final sale for hygienic reasons. Start a return by emailing shop@dryheatgoods.com with your order number and we will help from there.

Does Dry Heat offer wholesale?

Dry Heat wholesales to a small number of carefully chosen independent retailers in the Southwest and borderland. If you run a shop that aligns with the brand, email shop@dryheatgoods.com with your store name, address, and website for a linesheet.

What does "dry heat" mean?

"Dry heat" is the arid, low-humidity heat of the Sonoran and Mojave deserts — the kind that sits on your skin and teaches patience. The brand name is a tribute to that climate and the temperament it produces: self-contained, deliberate, unrushed, and deeply alive.

What is the Drift Sock?

The Drift Sock is Dry Heat’s heavyweight boot sock, made in oatmeal-colored merino + cotton blend. It ships in two heights — Low Drift (ankle) and High Drift (mid-calf) — and two pack sizes (1-pack and 4-pack, $42 to $180). It is designed for long walks, dry heat, and boots that earn their patina.

When do new Dry Heat pieces drop?

Dry Heat drops pieces when they are ready, not on a calendar. Right now the Drift Sock is live, and the other goods on the site are one-sample preview pieces. To ask about a sample or future release, email shop@dryheatgoods.com.

How do I contact Dry Heat?

Email shop@dryheatgoods.com for any question — sizing, returns, wholesale, press, or general. We are a small team and reply personally, usually within one business day.
